Paalam Papa Dom

Isa sa mga pioneer sa reggae ang grupong Tropical Depression nitong mga nakaraang araw lagi kong pinapatugtog ang kantang "napakasarap ng may nagmamahal", "mahal kita", "ang himig natin", "kapayapaan", "bilog nanaman ang buwan". nagulat ang lahat sa balitang pumanaw na and lead vocalist ng Tropical Depression na si Papa Dom o si Sir Dominic Gamboa dahil sa kidney failure sa edad na 47. Maraming nagluluksa sa pagpanaw ng isa sa haligi ng industriya ng musika. 


Paalam Papa Dom hinding hindi namin makakalimutan ang mga pinasikat nyong kanta. Bilog man o Hindi ang buwan nanjan pa rin po kayo. Maraming Salamat po sa Inyo.

The Smokey Mountains

Sino ba naman ang di makakaalm sa kantang Paraiso, Kailan at da coconut nut, Malamang kung pinanganak ka ngyong 2000's bka di mo nga alam pero pag marinig mo tyak magugustuhan mo, Isa sa kilalang Pinoy Singing Group Sumikat nuong dekada 90's The Smokey Mountains. Ang mga naging unang members na sina James Coronel, Geneva Cruz, Tony Lambino and Jeffrey Hidaldo binuo ang grupo ng isang sikat na  musical director, composer, conductor na si Maestro Ryan Cayabyab.
Ang naging 2nd line up ng grupo ay sina Jason Angangan, ChediVergara and Shar Sanos syempre kasama pa rin si James Coronel nawala na sina Jeffrey Hidalgo, tony Lambino at si Geneva Cruz. ang naging 3rd line up ng grupo ay Sina Jayson Anangan, Chedi Vergara, Shar Santos at Anna Fegi(Pinalitan nya si Shar Santos sa Japan Tour). Umalis na si Jmes Coronoel para sa solo career.

OPM (Original Pilipino Music)

The biggest voice in the Philippines is Regine Velasquez. Original Pilipino Music, now more commonly termed Original Pinoy Music or Original Philippine Music or OPM for short, originally referred only to Philippine pop songs, particularly ballads, such as those popular after the collapse of its predecessor, the Manila Sound, in the late 1970s, up until the present.In the 70's Nora Aunor, Pilita Corrales, Eddie Peregrina, Victor Wood, ASIN and many more. In the 1970s the major commercial Philippine pop music artists were, Joey Albert, Claire dela Fuente, Didith Reyes, Rico Puno, Ryan Cayabyab, Basil Valdez, Celeste Legaspi, Hajji Alejandro, Rey Valera, and Freddie Aguilar, Imelda Papin, Eva Eugenio, Nonoy Zuniga and many others.
